Sheldon

It’s summer so there are more happenings brewing at Sheldon Open Air Theatre!

There are four magical nights out under the stars to enjoy this year.

26th July – The Take That Experience – an energetic tribute to the ultimate boy band that hit the music scene 25 years ago.

28th July – Bring your air guitars as Quo-incidence help you go “rockin’ all over the world”, supported by local festival duo Go Tell Alice.

29th July – Gala night at Sheldon with 3 fantastic acts. Headlining highly original local talent with the utterly infectious Mad Dog Mcrea and the sublime Wildwood Kin, supported by a young traditional Irish trio the B-Minors.

2nd August – Joey the Lips need no introduction as they return for their 10th consecutive year – you just can’t get enough of the nation’s funkiest 10 piece band.

An intimate family-friendly venue running events with a festival-style flavour in the grounds of a respected retreat centre. We know how to party as well as how to do the serious stuff! Bring your friends for a great night out, and support Sheldon at the same time.

Tickets are cheapest if you buy them before the end of June.

Or for something more reflective, try a Sheldon Quiet Day on Thursday 22nd June. This one is led by Dr Lynda Barley, Canon Pastor at Truro Cathedral. A day to soak up the silence interspersed by short addresses with space to explore the grounds, walk the labyrinth, be still in the chapel.

£20 includes lunch and refreshments. www.sheldon.uk.com  01647-252752
