The parishioners of the Parish Church are actively involved in the various village organisations and events. We are pleased that the church is available to be used for Baptisms, Weddings, Funerals and Memorials. We make a special effort to decorate the church for the major Christian Festivals and welcome everyone to all services and events. We occasionally host events such as a concert or Flower Festival. At the last Flower Festival visitors could inspect the ancient parish registers to research their family history and there was a sponsored abseil from the top of the Church Tower.

What a splendid website. It should get an award!
Can someone kindly email me the name of the incumbent on March 27 1803?
Many thanks,

(Descendant of Israel Marks and Susannah Smith)
According to the Rectors Board in the church, from 1781 the Rector was William Stacy, followed in 1808 by Charles Burne. Apologies that his reply is so long after your question. I believe we have emailed sometime ago.
Jean Wise, churchwarden
The church is only open on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays, contrary to what it says above, which I am unable to update at the moment.
