After the “Great War” the people of Tedburn St. Mary in common with other parishes created a Memorial to remember their War Dead. Rather than have a Stone Cross, the community decided upon a more practical memorial, they chose to refurbish the Church Organ and to place a Plaque naming the War Dead on the Wall of the Parish Church, it is here each year at the service of Remembrance we gather and place a wreath.
The War Memorial for Tedburn St. Mary is housed on the inside South wall of the Church.
